Spectrum Health Services Prenatal Care

Spectrum offers the following services to assure a healthy pregnancy:
- Nutrition services to help you gain the appropriate amount of weight.
- Gestational diabetes education.
- Specialty prenatal providers who can provide guidance regarding which prescription, over-the-counter medications, and supplements are safe or not to take during pregnancy.
- Smoking cessation counseling.
- Referrals to a lactation consultation if you are considering breastfeeding. Applications for WIC: a USDA supplemental nutrition program for expecting and new mothers to ensure adequate nutrition.

Spectrum Health Services, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Community Health Center established in 1967, serving the medical needs of Philadelphia-area residents regardless of their ability to pay. We offer fully-accredited medical, dental, behavioral health, nutrition, and case management under one roof. Appointments and same-day scheduling are available, most insurance plans are accepted, and discounted fees are provided based on family-size and income.
